I don’t know about you, but I love all the comforts of home: yummy food, a warm and comfy bed, relaxing massages, and lots of safety and love. Well, Georgeanna agrees and loves all of that stuff too! However, she will swap the massages for some awesome ear rubs.
Georgeanna is a 6-7 year old Terrier mix who is looking to be adopted or fostered into a very special home. She is heartworm positive and has a cancerous growth on her belly. Due to her medical issues, we are looking for a nice and quiet hospice home where she can live out the time that she has left in safety and comfort. This 16 pound girl is a homebody who just wants to relax and hang out.
While Georgeanna is quiet and sweet, she would do best as the only dog in the house. Her Texas foster family noticed that she was fine with the dogs in the house but she would become a bit fearful and protective in her crate when they would come near. Needless to say, Georgeanna is crate trained. She does okay on a leash but is an extreme flight risk. Whoever takes in this sweet girl must be vigilant with her safety and containment. If she gets a chance to take off and run, she will. She is just scared and needs somebody with patience and understanding. A constant supply of wet dog food and Milk Bone dog biscuits (her favorite!) will make Georgeanna your best friend for life.
