NSPR is a local non-profit dog rescue located right here in Boonton.  We’ll cover topics such as… \n* What are a dog’s needs?\n* How to physically prepare your home for your dog’s arrival.\n* Positive reinforcement. \n…and more.  This virtual program is geared toward anyone who plans to welcome or has recently welcomed a dog into their home\, whether through adoption or fostering.  Any dog owner/foster or others interested in dog welfare may also attend in order to brush up on dog care. The program is free and open to the public\, however\, registration is required.  Email registrations@boontonholmeslibrary.org with “Welcome Home” in the subject line.  We’ll reply with Zoom login info. \nIf you have any general questions about welcoming a dog into your home\, please include them in your registration email (or send them later\, should you think of them later).  There will be a Q&A session at the end of the program when you can also ask a question.
